国立民族学博物館との共同研究で、ミュージアムにおける学習体験を豊かにするため、訪問者が多様な視点から展示物を鑑賞できる対話型の鑑賞支援を研究しました。
博物館学習分野の既存研究によると、多様な視点で疑問を思いつきながら鑑賞すると展示内容の知識をつけることができます。この知見に基づき、ファンタジーのキャラクターが疑問を出しながら、時にキャラクターへのなりきりを促す対話型 Web アプリケーションを開発しました。
評価実験の結果、提案システムが訪問者の視点取得を促進し、展示物への理解を深めることを確認しました。
In joint research with the National Museum of Ethnology, we studied interactive viewing support that enables museum visitors to engage with exhibits from diverse perspectives and enrich their learning experience.
Based on existing research in museum learning, viewing with questions from various viewpoints enhances knowledge acquisition. We developed an interactive web application featuring fantasy characters that pose questions and encourage visitors to role-play.
Our evaluation confirmed that the proposed system promotes perspective-taking and deepens understanding of exhibits.
