図録に興味を持ってもらうための博物館チャットボット開発 AI chatbot for promoting museum exhibition catalogs
浜松市博物館、株式会社NXワンビシアーカイブズ、静岡大学情報学部の産官学連携プロジェクトの開発を担当しました。 博物館が発行する図録に対して訪問者に興味を持ってもらうためのAIチャットアプリを作成しました。
チャットアプリ上では、図録を持った子供のキャラクターに質問することができ、図録の内容を参照しているため、最新で詳しい内容を知ることができます。 図録あり/なしを切り替えることができるので、図録のあり/なしで比較して図録の重要性を伝えられるようにしました。 また、キャラクターの発話の語尾に、参照元（図録のページ数）を載せることで、図録を開く機会を増やそうとしました。
チームのメンバーは私以外エンジニアではないので、「クライアントの要望を聞いて、それを技術に翻訳する」という能力を鍛えることができました。 また、キャラクターに口パクアニメーションをつけたり、メッセージをタイプライター表示するなど、ユーザビリティを意識して開発することの重要性についても学ぶことができました。
Led development for an industry-academia-government collaborative project between Hamamatsu City Museum, NX Wanbishi Archives, and Shizuoka University’s Faculty of Informatics. Built an AI chat application to engage museum visitors with exhibition catalogs.
The chat app features a child character holding a catalog that visitors can ask questions to, referencing the actual catalog content for accurate and detailed answers. Users can toggle the catalog reference on/off to demonstrate its value, and source page numbers are appended to responses to encourage opening the catalog.
Since I was the only engineer on the team, I developed the ability to translate client requirements into technical solutions. I also learned the importance of UX-focused development, implementing features like lip-sync animations and typewriter-style message display.
